At-last Pakistan level series with Australia.Pakistan were just brilliant in the first innings with the ball and Aamir was about unplayable along with him consistent Mohammad Asif and calculated bowling by Umer Gul ruined Aussie batting Umer Amin chipped in with a wicket too.

And that was all over for Australia in the first innings.

Pakistani top order played sensibly and put on some early runs on the board, both the new players also played O.K but Akmal brothers and Malik did not play well at all, got good starts but in vain.

Pakistan ended 258 , Pak got lead of 170 runs

Now again bowling had to be good, it was a good start for Aamir as he bowled Katich….

Watson hold that with Ponting and Aus were 55-1 when Watson fall.

Then captain and vice captain played very cautiously and moved Aus to 144-2. It was starting to look bad for Pakistanis but soon The rising star Mohammad Aamir struck again and Ponting got out playing absolutely nothing shot.

Now it was 144-3 Then Aamir got 2 more as M. Hussey 158-4 and North 164-5 were back to pavilion.again there was a good partnership and Paine and Clark put Aussies in good position as they were on 217 Clark got out on the ball of Asif  217-6. All the tail-enders played well for Aussies and they put a reasonable total (180) on the board a 349 with the help of smith’s outstanding 77.

They were expecting the same result as was the result of Sydney test in start of this year.

Pakistan started badly as Salman butt was out on 13 at the Total of 27.

It was 27\1 then the newbie Azhar Ali came to crease and played very sensibly and carefully and 3rd wicket partnership took Pakistan to 137-1 when Imran Farhat got out on 67. he played very well.

Umer Amin the other newbie came to crease and got a great delivery by Duggy and edged it to Paine and score was still 137………
